Children are continually assessed throughout their school life. This information is used to gauge progress and to help plan next steps in their learning. Teachers carry out daily assessments e.g. through observation, questioning, discussion and marking. More formal assessments are also carried out at certain times i.e. Phonics screening in Year 1 and SATS test at the end of Key Stage 1 and 2 (Years 2 and 6). We are very proud of our results and the hard work put in by the children and staff.
